Parent Committee / Open door

We welcome and encourage parental involvement and strive to create many opportunities to bring staff and families together.

We invite families to share our learning experiences by offering ‘happy hours’ where parents can join in with our PE sessions, sound work activities, messy play and circle time.

We also invite other family members into Buttercups, such as ‘grand parents’ and we actively encourage parents and other family members to join us in nursery to share their professional expertise or special interest.

We have an ‘open door’ policy, which gives parents/carers/grandparents the opportunity to come in and play at other times more suitable for them.

We have a parent group, Friends of Buttercups who are involved in nursery events and fundraising. Any funds which are raised at this time helps towards our Christmas, Easter and Graduation celebrations.
