My children loved going to Buttercups, friendly dedicated staff and a wonderful place for them to learn and grow.

Buttercups is absolutely wonderful, my child had the best time there! The staff are excellent and go above and beyond for the children. I would recommend buttercups to anyone.

This nursery is just fantastic! My son had an amazing two years here. The staff were friendly and supportive and became part of our family for two years. I believe Charlie’s grounding here set up him well for school! He’s thriving and is now in secondary school but still talks fondly about his time at Buttercups! Would recommend without any reservation!

Buttercups provided both our daughters with such happy memories of their time with the Buttercups family! By the time they started infant school Buttercups had provided them with all the learning , social and confidence skills needed for their next step. Even after leaving some 12 years ago we still talk fondly of the activities and friends they made at Buttercups and go back to visit whenever they get the chance! You couldn’t ask more of Helen , Hazel and the team when it comes to caring , supporting and teaching our little ones.

Our son is now 14 years old but he went to Buttercups as soon as he was old enough as a little one. He absolutely loved it there and we were very happy with such a wonderful setting, great management (Hazel and Helen are brilliant) and lovely caring staff. BUTTERCUPS is simply AMAZING!!!!! After moving to Whiteley in 2017 we enrolled our son who was 3 1/2 at the time to Buttercups. He had already attended 2 others nurseries due to house moves so we had some experience of using other nurseries too. Buttercups is an exceptional nursery. The quality of the staff, activities, educational/play experiences is extremely high. We felt our son was very safe there (this wasn’t our experience in other nurseries!) He absolutely loved going. I can’t recommend them enough – we have already enrolled our 6 month old daughter to start when she’s old enough.

My youngest was enrolled here over 20 Years ago. I could write a book about Buttercups. It’s a special place which holds memories that will last a lifetime. Friendships were formed that are special to this day and beyond. From a Parent to an Employee to someone who although now lives in Australia still talks about how special Buttercups was and is Hazel and Helen are kind, caring and thoughtful people and lifelong friends. Connor is now a Law Graduate. He has Buttercups to thank for giving him the best start to his Education.

Buttercups has been simply amazing our little boy has truly loved it and as a parent i have too!!! Our eldest went to a few other nurseries which were ok but our little boy was so lucky to get a place at buttercups and it’s made me wish he could do another year but sadly school beckons. I will always sing the praises of you guys to friends, family and clients.

Due to house moves my girls have attended a couple of different nurseries and this one is top notch in comparison. My littlest is so happy and talks about her day and buddies with a smile and has advanced so much academically! My eldest loves the after-school sibling club which is so convenient too and more personal than other settings. A*****.

No review will ever highlight just how wonderful Buttercups is. Both my children attended Buttercups and I wouldn’t have had them anywhere else. Having worked in childcare, I was definitely fussy as to where my children went, and what I was looking for in a childcare setting. I never had a single complaint about the care my children were given, and most importantly to me, I knew they’d get a cuddle if they needed it! I am eternally grateful for the start they had in life.

Both my children enjoyed their time at Buttercups. One of which really didn’t wish to leave. Whiteley is lucky to have such an established and highly regarded nursery school. They focus on each child as an individual, facilitate their learning and development so they are fully prepared for primary school and beyond!

All 3 of my children have been through Buttercups. There is no better start in life for them. Thoroughly recommend the most amazing pre-school and the also wonderful Helen and Hazel. The happiest days of their lives.

Both of my children went to Buttercups. Can’t speak highly enough of them. A real home-from-home feel to it, lots of happy memories and funny stories… The children still talk about it now and they are 13 and 10 now.

My daughter has been going to Buttercups for the last year as her previous nursery closed due to COVID. I can honestly say she has loved every minute from the day she started. Every single member of staff is so caring, attentive and generally fantastic with all the kids. It is by far the best nursery we have had the opportunity to use! We will be incredibly sad when it’s our time to move on.

Both my sons went to Buttercups. In my opinion there is no better place to send your children for their early years development. They went to their R schools not only equipped academically, they were top set in all subjects, but were well socialised articulate and confident . They are now adults one is a Psychologist and one is a Lawyer, I absolutely believe their fabulous experience at Buttercups set them up for life.

All three of my children attended buttercups. They have the fondest memories of their time and staff there. As a parent, I felt reassured that they truly cared for my children and were always there for us, as a family too. I have nothing but lovely things to say about them all.

Both my boys attended and they loved it. I’ve now signed my daughter up to go there once she’s old enough. Everyone there is fabulous and puts your child’s needs first. They have a great connection with Whiteley Primary so transition to year R was so good. Would highly recommend.

My son loves his days at Buttercups since the day he started. I have noticed a huge change in his confidence (specially speaking not being English first language) and social interactions. All the team are fabulous, friendly and very helpful. I would 100% recommend Buttercups to everyone.

We just love everything about Buttercups! Our son started a few months ago and he is so happy! Even on his first ever settling in session, I left him and waited outside because he was too busy to look for me and then cried the whole way home! He never cried going in!! He is doing so well; his speech has flourished! We can’t recommend it enough.

Buttercups is an amazing nursery school. All the team are fantastic and really go the extra mile for all the children. Both my boys attended Buttercups’s and loved it. They both came on leaps and bounds in all areas of growth whilst at buttercups. I highly recommend them as the most outstanding pre school in the area.

They are outstanding in every way, they also truly get the children ready for school too, which is fantastic. Highly recommended.

They truly care for your child’s individuality and they not only mentor your child through their brilliant Buttercups journey, they are understanding of the parents needs too. A listening non-judgemental ear is always at hand, no matter how tiny it may seem, as a parent it usually feels so big at the time but I can honestly say they have helped me as a mother to understand the going’s on in a toddlers head. It’s opened my eyes to being a better parent. I may be the parent but I sometimes feel like an uneducated parent. All of the staff at Buttercups are empathetic and sympathetic when required. My twin boys may be getting help being prepared for primary school but it’s me they will also help make this transition as painless as possible. We will be very sorry to leave but know we have made some new friends.

My son has been attending Buttercups for a couple of months and I have noticed a change in his confidence, his social interaction and his general learning, already, in that short time. He has a wonderful friendship group. He is absolutely thriving and I am so pleased I made the change from his previous setting. The activities and enhancements that are provided each day are interesting for the children and create lots of discussions at home. He thinks highly of all the staff, calling them by their names and remembering them. They are all friendly, honest and kind and the parents are kept informed. A truly wonderful preschool setting.

I would 100% recommend Buttercups to everyone, they have been absolutely fantastic with my little boy. He has such great fun every day and I love hearing him chat about all the things he has learnt or done each day! The staff are just wonderful, so kind and caring, my son adores them all! I couldn’t wish for a better setting for my son to be in!

My children have been to a few nurseries due to us relocating and Buttercups really has stood head and shoulders above the rest. The staff are such a lovely team who truly care for the children. They really focus on their development and I don’t know how they come up with so many fun educational activities every day! The weekly woodlands day is a highlight for my daughter, she absolutely loves the activities they do, and she is really confident and excited to start school which is all down to the staff at Buttercups. I would recommend this to anyone.

My daughter has just started at Buttercups and loves it just as much as her brother did when he went 5 years ago. Staff are very attentive and loving towards the children, it’s like a home from home for them.
